The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) at Teshie Ridge has held closing ceremony for the Defence Management Course Module for Senior Command and Staff Course 45 on Friday 12 July,2024.

The two weeks module exposed participants to the issues, principles and techniques relevant to improving the governance and management of the Defence and security sectors.

The Guest of Honour, Commandant GAFCSC Major General (Maj Gen) Matthew Essien in his remarks stated that the Defence Management Course Module has explored various topics and discussions to enrich participants' understanding of the complexities of modern defence and security challenges.

Maj Gen Essien urged participants to be guided by the pursuit of excellence and stay true to its values , remain steadfast in the commitment to serve and to never lose sight of the profound impact that their actions and decisions would have on the security and prosperity of the nation.

He applauded the participants for demonstrating unwavering commitment and intellectual curiosity embodying the essence of life long learning and professional development that exemplifies the ethos of the institution.

He was of the view that participants have been equipped with a comprehensive tool kit of knowledge, skill and perspectives that would undoubtedly serve well in the navigation of multifaceted landscape of contemporary security challenges from the course module coupled with experience and expertise.
