Feed the Sick Foundation, a Christian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) located at Winneba in the Central Region, has donated beverages to some patients at the 37 Military Hospital on Friday, 29 December 2023.

The foundation, led by the founder, Reverend Jerry Martey, visited the Opoku, Bandoh, James Cole Wards to donate to patients admitted to these various wards of the Hospital.

The Director of the foundation, Dr Francis Narh Akrono said that the mandate of the foundation was to visit patients admitted at various health facilities who were less privileged and could not afford to pay their medical bills. He indicated that the foundation has visited some hospitals in the country to lend a helping hand to some patients.

Dr Francis Narh Akrono stated that inasmuch as the foundation was helping and donating to patients, their focus has been to help win souls to Christ so that the patients could also win others to Christ as well.

He requested for a collaboration between the Hospital and the Foundation to enable the foundation help pay bills for patients at the Hospital when the need arises.

The Commanding Officer (CO) 37 Military Hospital, Colonel (Col) Richard Mensah thanked the foundation for their benevolence and requested that the foundation keep the patients of the Hospital in their prayers.

He added that the Hospital plays a role in caring for the sick and the benevolence of the foundation would add up to the Hospital. He noted that others would be inspired by the kind gesture of the foundation.
