DEPUTY FORCE COMMANDER PAYS WORKING VISIT TO GHANA BATTALION 10

The Deputy Force Commander (DFC), United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Major General Robert Affram paid a working visit to UNMISS Ghana Battalion (GHANBATT) 10 Headquarters, Bentiu on Wednesday 9 August 2023.

 

He was received by Commanding Officer (CO), UNMISS GHANBATT 10, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Prince Tandoh at the Headquarters. In an interaction with troops during a durbar, the DFC said that he visited Bentiu to see GHANBATT troops, congratulate troops on the excellent work done over the period of the tour and to bid troops farewell as the Battalion prepares for rotation.

 

The DFC also paid a visit to the Koch Temporary Operating Base (TOB) on Thursday 10 August 2023 to assess the Base and the welfare of troops stationed at the TOB. The DFC departed Bentiu to Juba on Thursday after his visit to Koch.
