The 37 Military Hospital held a brief but impressive Handing and Taking Over ceremony for the outgoing Commanding Officer (CO) of the hospital Brig Gen Evelyn Vivian Abraham-Kwabiah and the Incoming CO Col Richard Mensah at the hospital’s Board Room on Monday, August14, 2023. The outgoing CO Brig Gen Kwabiah has been appointed the Commander of the Critical Care Hospital. She handed over the Baton of command to the incoming CO Col Mensah. The handing over of Baton and Taking Over ceremony is a Military ceremony that signifies change of authority of Command. The Commander of the 37 Military Hospital, Brig Gen Prosper Ayibor in his remarks congratulated the outgoing CO and the Incoming CO on their appointments and wished them success in their new appointments. The outgoing CO Brig Gen Abraham-Kwabiah said that she was grateful to the 37 Military Hospital Command and staff for the support given her during her tenure in office as the CO. She added that the can-do spirit of Brig Gen Prosper Ayibor has left a positive impact on her and that she has learnt from Brig Gen Ayibor’s commitment and positive attitude to work.
