The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ojeyz Security Management Limited, Captain (Capt) Haruna Adamu (Rtd) has presented a 30 KVA Perkins generator set worth GH₵140,000.00 to the Headquarters of Southern Command on Wednesday, 29 November 2023. The gesture was to help the Command keep a standby generator to provide electricity power to the unit when the national grid goes off. Capt Adamu (Rtd), a retired United States Army Officer, indicated that the donation was occasioned by his visit to Brigadier General Samuel Yeboah Asare during which there was a power outage. As an ex-service man, he deemed it an honour and a civic duty to support the progress of the Command and the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF). GOC S/Comd, Brig Gen SY Asare thanked Captain Adamu (Rtd) for his kind gesture and described same as timely. He assured Capt Adamu (Rtd) that the equipment would be put to effective use Ojeyz Security Management Limited is a wholly Ghanaian owned private security company duly registered in Ghana and incorporated in September 2012. It is headquartered in Kumbagre at Plot No. 64, Bolgatanga, in the Upper East Region. They provide services such as man guarding, remote video surveillance, asset and vehicle tracking, counter surveillance, among other services.
