The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah has paid his maiden official visit to the Ghana Air Force Headquarters on Tuesday 25 June 2024 at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp. During the visit, the Director Air Operations, Group Captain Fiifi Adu Boadu, briefed the CDS on various aspects of Air operations, infrastructural development, supply, training, administration, logistics as well as challenges. Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah in his remarks commended the Ghana Air Force for its tireless efforts in protecting Ghana's territorial airspace. He assured that, every effort would be made to address the teething challenges faced by the Service. The CDS further reiterated that, team work, fellow feeling and effective leadership were essential in achieving success in the Ghana Armed Forces. He therefore admonished All Ranks of the Ghana Air Force to work with affection, respect and trust in all their endeavors.
