The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama, has visited all the three Service Headquarters of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) in Burma Camp on Wednesday, 3 January 2023. The visit, in line with President Nana Addo’s satisfaction with the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), and desire for continues peace in the nation, saw the CDS congratulating the Service Chiefs and their personnel for their diligence in the past year urging them to uphold peace and stability during the 2024 elections. The Service Chiefs expressed their gratitude to CDS for his leadership, administration and welfare of personnel, reaffirming their loyalty and commitment to Vice Admiral Seth Amoama's support. He also visited some Departments and Directorates. On his visit, he informed the Units of the GAF Family Pension App, which would bridge the gap between the Ghana Armed Forces Pension House, Controller and Accountant General, and GAF retired personnel as well as their families to ensure that entitlements are received within three months. Vice Admiral Amoama was accompanied by the Chief of Staff (COS) at the General Headquarters, Major General Nicholas Peter Andoh, Deputy COS In-Charge of Administration Air Vice Marshal Michael Kwame Appiah-Agyekum and Military Assistant to CDS, Colonel Frank Kusi-Darko.
