The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, accompanied by the Service Chiefs, have paid an administrative visit to the 37 Military Hospital on Monday, 18 November 2024, where two personnel injured in the line of duty were on admission.

The two soldiers, who sustained injuries from an accidental discharge while on duty, received words of encouragement and sympathy from the CDS. Lieutenant General Oppong-Peprah prayed for their speedy recovery, offered cash donations, and assured them of the High Command’s support to facilitate their recovery.

As part of the visit, the CDS and his entourage also called on a former CDS, Air Vice Marshal Richard Ashelley-Larson, to wish him a speedy recovery.
