In recognition of her exceptional service, dedication, hard work and professionalism the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, has honoured SWOII Logah Patience at his office on Tuesday 29 October 2024. SWOII Logah, the Head of the Drill Wing at the Ghana Military Academy and recipient of the prestigious National Women Award in the Best Female Soldier category, was recognised by the CDS for her outstanding service. The CDS highlighted her professionalism, discipline and selflessness during the event and presented her with a special gift in appreciation of her contributions to elevating the reputation of the Ghana Armed Forces both nationally and internationally. SWOII Logah expressed her gratitude to Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah for his motivation and encouragement throughout her military career, acknowledging his support as instrumental in her achieving national recognition. She presented her award to the CDS and pledged to remain loyal and dedicated in her service to God and mankind.
