The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, has emphasized the importance of teamwork among personnel of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF). Speaking during a visit to the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) at Teshie Ridge on Thursday, 18 July 2024, Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah noted that teamwork had been instrumental in the expansion of the GAF and urged personnel to continue working together to achieve a common goal. He also encouraged personnel to acquire knowledge that would be beneficial to mankind. CDS pledged his support for the College and commended the Commandant, Major General Matthew Essien, for his efforts in addressing some of the challenges facing the College.
