The 7 Garrison has held its end of year religious parade at the St Ignatius Catholic Church, Volta Barracks, Ho on Sunday 24 November 2024.

The event which brought together troops from the 66 Artillery Regiment, Artillery Training School and the Naval Training Command was held under the theme "Thus Far The Lord Has Helped Us".

The Guest Preacher Rt Rev Matthew Zikpi took his sermon from 1 Samuel 7:7-13 and Luke 8:22-25 was full of gratitude for how far the Lord has brought them.

Imam Yussif Abdul Wahab in a word of exultation was also thankful for Allah's protection throughout the year.

The Commanding Officer of the 66 Artillery Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Jalali Din Ibrahim, urged troops to continue to be loyal to the country and the Ghana Armed Forces. He further advised troops to exhibit high sense of professionalism at this critical time as we get closer to 2024 elections. He thanked troops for their dedication, hard work and support throughout the year.
