2024 BEST TEACHER 1ST RUNNER-UP PRESENTS AWARD TO GOC CENTRAL COMMAND

The 2024 National Best Teacher 1st Runner-Up, Mr Richard Kojo Adomako, presented his award to the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Central Command, Brigadier General Michael Kwadwo Opoku, at his office on Tuesday 8 October 2024.

Mr Adomako, who teaches at 4 Garrison Basic School, won a car at the Teachers Awards Night held at the KNUST Great Hall on Saturday, 5 October 2024. Brig Gen Opoku, upon receiving him, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for Mr Adomako’s efforts in projecting the image of the school and, by extension, the Ghana Armed Forces. He urged him to leverage the recognition to make a positive impact on his students’ lives and encouraged him to continue excelling in his field for the benefit of the nation.

Present at the award presentation were the Command Operations Officer, Col Henry Ansah-Akrofi, Command Logistics Officer, Col John Frempong-Manso, 4 Garrison Education Officer, Lt Col Robert Laryea Okoley, CO 87 Signal Regiment, Lt Col John Majeed Baluo, Command Chaplain, Lt Col Gustafson Asamoah, Command Sergeant Major, SWOI Kalasi Daniel and several Heads of Schools.
