The outgoing Commanding Officer (CO) School of Ordnance, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Edna Kyerewaa Antwi has handed over command to Lt Col Evans Adu Danso during a handing and taking over ceremony held on Thursday, 4 September 2025.

The Guest of honour, Commandant Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Commodore Maxwell Arhin represented by Colonel (Col) Benjamin Boamah commended the outgoing CO for her exemplary leadership which has brought a remarkable transformation to the school.

Col Boamah further applauded the outgoing CO for maintaining the memorandum of understanding between the school and the Accra Technical University, emphasizing that her massive contributions promoted scholarship and improved facilities at the school despite limited resources.

On her part, Lt Col Antwi thanked the Military High Command for the confidence reposed in her, noting that efforts are underway to upgrade the courses to meet current global trends in logistics. She acknowledged the Deans of the faculty of Business and Applied Science and Arts, past heads of Procurement and Supply Chain Management as well as Fashion Design for their immerse collaboration and support.

The outgoing CO entreated personnel to support the incoming CO and encouraged them to maintain discipline and professionalism.
