The Force Commander (FC) for the ECOWAS Stabilisation Support Mission in Guinea Bissau (ESSMBG), Brigadier General Edward Odinya Ojabo, has paid a familiarisation visit to GHANCOY 4 Camp on Tuesday 5 August 2025. He interacted with key appointment holders, followed by an engagement with all ranks, where he welcomed GHANCOY 4 into the mission and commended GHANCOY 3 for executing their duties professionally. Brigadier General Ojabo urged the Combat Team Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Amoah, to brace for the critical role of GHANCOY in the mission. He also advised him to prioritise the welfare of his troops for a successful tour of duty. A presentation was made to the FC by Lt Col Amoah to honour his visit.
