The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, Service Chiefs and Heads of Security Services have paid a courtesy call on the President and Commander-in-Chief (C-In-C) of the Ghana Armed Forces, His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama in Accra on Tuesday 14 January 2025. On behalf of the delegation, General Oppong-Peprah congratulated President Mahama on his election victory and pledged their unwavering support and loyalty to him. He stressed that the peace and stability Ghana continues to enjoy was the result of teamwork on the part of the Heads of the Security Services. He pledged that, they would continue to collaborate and work harder to maintain the peace and security in the country. On his part, President Mahama expressed his gratitude to the delegation for their visit and acknowledged their hard work in keeping Ghana peaceful and safe. He encouraged the Security Heads to continue to exhibit professionalism in the discharge of their mandate.
