Other dignitaries and family members also paid their respect, observed a moment of silence in remembrance of the deceased, recited prayers and paid floral tribute in memory of their souls. The sober event brought together top government officials, including Vice President Her Excellency Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, Chief of the Defence Staff, Lieutenant General William Agyapong, and other high-ranking officials from across the government and military.
The President and Commander-in-Chief (C-in-C) of the Ghana Armed Forces, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has paid a solemn floral tribute and candle lighting at the Jubilee House on Thursday 7 August 2025 as part of the 3-day national mourning declared in honour of the victims.
