The programme was organized by the KAIPTC in partnership with the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and it aimed at giving a unique opportunity to women in management roles within the security sector to help them enhance their skills in contributing to the peace process in the country.

Cluster Leader, Gender and Inclusive Security Course Director, Ms. Fleur Heyworth said plans were ongoing to institutionalize the course as an annual core programme at the KAIPTC and across Africa.

The Commandant, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Griffiths Santrofi Evans in his address expressed gratitude to GCSP partnering the KAIPTC in organizing the course and a successful discussion at KAIPTC urging the participants and facilitators to continue with the hard work.
