The Service Integrity Savings and Loans (SIS&L) has officially inaugurated its 9th operational branch at Bolga in the Upper East Region on Friday 4 October 2024.

The new branch, strategically situated at Abilba Barracks of the 11 Mechanised Battalion, aims to cater to the financial needs of the military community and the general public.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Northern Command, Brigadier General Frank Nartey Tei, who was the Guest of Honour, said the opening of the new SIS&L branch was an indication of the bank’s steady expansion, especially in a sector that has faced significant hurdles in recent years.

The GOC further commended SIS&L for its notable strides within the banking sector, positioning itself as a preferred financial institution for the military community and the general public.

The GOC also called on all military personnel, both serving and retired, to support and utilise the services of SIS&L, highlighting the inherent link between the company’s success and that of the Armed Forces.

The Board Chairman of SIS&L, Major Amarkai Amarteifio (Rtd), in his remarks, mentioned that the launch of the Bolga branch underscored SIS&L’s long-term commitment to delivering innovative banking services, driven by excellent customer experiences. He highlighted the company’s consistent profitability since its inception, attributing it to strong corporate governance, prudent risk management, and the solid support of the military leadership, alongside loyal customers and a dedicated workforce.
