CDS CONDUCTS SECOND PHASE VISITS

The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah embarked on the second phase of his working visit to Departments and Directorates in the General Headquarters (GHQ), Burma Camp on Friday 19 April 2024.

He visited GHQ (Records), GHQ (Medical), GHQ (Education), GHQ (IPSO) and GHQ (DI) where he interacted with Generals, Directors and Staff and commended them for their dedication and hard work in support of Command.

At GHQ (Records), the CDS stated his readiness to modernize and digitalize the archival documents. He promised that the first ten (10) computers would be delivered in the following week.

The CDS also assured GHQ Medical that he would assist in completing ongoing projects and solve their manpower challenges. He stressed that medical personnel should be given the necessary support to further their studies in order to provide quality services to all.

The Deputy Chief of Staff (Medical) Major General Raymond Ewusi thanked CDS for providing funds for the construction of a molecular laboratory, personally arranging for the supply of two dialysis machines to the Critical Care and Emergency Hospital and overseas courses for medical personnel.
