The Eastern Naval Command (ENC) has on Friday, 22 December 2023, organized recreational activities as part of events scheduled to draw the curtain on the year. The events commenced with a health walk through some principal streets of Tema Newtown, followed by aerobics session, football, volleyball and tag of war among other fun games at the Biekro Barracks. The Flag Officer Commanding, Eastern Naval Command, Commodore Maxwell Arhen, said the fun games was aimed at promoting esprit de corps among personnel, create an opportunity to socialize, take stock of past events, and thank God for his blessings. He advised personnel to get involved in training exercises since it was good for the mind, body, spirit and the soul. At the end of the games, Leadership Training School was adjourned the First in Volley Ball whilst Naval Base Tema won the Football March.
