The 5 Garrison Education Complex and Afrostar kids Academy have honoured Lois Nana Yaa Dansoa of the Flagstaff House Basic School on Thursday 25 July 2024, for her outstanding dancing talent and achievement as a member of the Afrostar Kids Academy. The event was to garner support for dancing talent to ensure that beginners receive the necessary support from the school for any future commitment and opportunities. According to her uncle and manager, Mr Isaac Effah, Lois, the nine-year old Basic four pupil has been dancing since childhood. She enrolled in the Afrostar Kids Academy in April this year in order for her to learn to break complex dances into simple steps with a team to further develop her skills. As part of her talent development, Lois performed with the Afrostar Kids Academy dance crew to welcome Afronita and Abigail from the UK after participating in Britain's Got Talent competition. She also featured in Juicy Music's music video, 'My People'. In an interaction with her creative arts teacher, Mr Gershon Nyansafo, he eulogised Lois describing her as respectful, hardworking, and intelligent pupil who actively engages in all learning activities.
