The Ghana Military Academy (GMA) Intake 8, as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations has held a thanksgiving service at the 37 Military Hospital Methodist/Presbyterian Church on Sunday, 17 November 2024. Preaching on the theme “Maturing in Giving Through Christ: The Alpha and Omega,” Rt Reverend Osabutey described a mature Christian as one who gives generously to God at all times. He encouraged Christians to trust in the Lord and give willingly, assuring them that God would never fail them in their time of need. His sermon was based on scripture texts from Luke 6:30-38, Ephesians 2:6, Philippians 4:9, and 2 Corinthians 8:1-9. Rear Admiral Adoko was accompanied by other distinguished members, including the Vice President of the Association, Major General Henry Kwame Anyidoho, Captain (GN) Ignatius Ankobiah, Group Captain James Anthony Quansah, Dr Colonel (Rtd) Ebenezer Caternor, Captain (Airline) Joshua Agyekum, Wing Commander Frank Quayson, and others. 
The President of the Association, Rear Admiral Jonathan Yanful Adoko (Rtd), expressed the members’ gratitude to God for His guidance and blessings over the years. As a gesture of thanksgiving, the association presented an offering to God in appreciation of His goodness.
