A 9-member delegation from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah at the General Headquarters on Friday 3 May, 2024.

The delegation led by the Board Chairman Professor Kwame Boafo-Arthur Board Chairman expressed appreciation to the CDS for the fruitful collaboration between the two institutions especially regarding the establishment of the National Defence University.

He intimated that, the University was significant in providing a platform for the military in Ghana and from other nations to train their personnel.

On his part, the CDS eulogized the GTEC Board Members for their dedication and assistance to GAF in its educational endeavors, thus, ensuring the production of high-quality officers for the security and peace of Ghana. He emphasized the ongoing collaboration between the institutions would ensure the high standards in military education were upheld.
