5 April 2019. A four-member delegation from the United States (US) Army, led by the US Defence Attaché (DA) to Ghana, Lt Col Lee, has made a donation to the Defence Intelligence (DI) School on Friday 5 April 2019, at Burma Camp.
The donation, which comprised two boxes of books on security was to aid the school in the acquisition of knowledge.
Lt Col Lee stated that the books would sharpen the intellect of the students of the school on security issues.
The Director General, Defence Intelligence, Brig Gen PN Andoh, was appreciative of the kind gesture shown by the US Army and revealed that the donation was in fulfillment of the promise made to the institution in October 2018. He promised that the books would not only be used by the students of the school but by anyone with security interest at heart.
He was happy about the partnership the institution had formed with the United Nation (UN) as well as their varied contributions towards the institution.
Some of the books donated were titled Cyber War, the Thinker’s Toolkit, The Rise of ISIS and others.
