The Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC) Medical Centre, in collaboration with Lele Group of Companies, has organised a medical outreach and free health screening for residents of Dalive, Nutekpor and Agorta, at the Dalive CHPS Compound, on Wednesday 10 December 2025.
The initiative, undertaken as part of the End-of-Year West Africa Soldiers Social Activities (WASSA), was part of community health support efforts by NAVTRAC aimed at enhancing civil-military cooperation and improving access to basic healthcare services within its adjoining communities.
During the exercise, the medical team conducted general consultations, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, malaria screening and provided health education on disease prevention and healthy living. Individuals requiring further assessment were referred to appropriate medical facilities.
The Flag Officer Commanding NAVTRAC, Commodore James Adongo Agambire, together with senior officers of the Command, visited the outreach site to interact with Ghana Health Service personnel and residents. Their presence however, highlighted the commitment of NAVTRAC to community engagement and collaboration with local health authorities.
The outreach was conducted jointly with staff of the Dalive CHPS Compound.
