A total of 28 personnel have completed a 12-week clerk Basic One (B1) course at the Clerk Training School, Whistler Barracks, Teshie on Tuesday 16 December 2025.
Speaking on behalf of the Commandant Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), the General Coordinator (G-CORD) at TRADOC Headquarters Colonel Frank Gyebi-Abrokwah, noted that the course curriculum covered typing, office routine, military regulations, minor staff duties and computing skills aimed at boosting efficiency in office management.
He urged the graduands to apply the knowledge acquired on the course into practical performance at their respective units, stressing the importance on punctuality, professionalism, discipline and integrity. He reminded them that Commanders and Staff Officers would rely heavily on them for effective discharge of their duties.
Colonel Abrokwah also commended the graduands for their conduct throughout the course and extended gratitude to the Officer Commanding, instructors and the entire staff of the school for their dedicated efforts.
Outstanding students were awarded for their exceptional performance. Corporal Fianya Sandra Selasi emerged over all best student/clerk, followed by Corporal Nyasorgbor Elinam Eyam in second place and Corporal Opoku Alex in third place.
