The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) Junior Division (Jnr Div) has organised Exercise Ombudsman for students of Junior Staff Course 84 at the Ankrah Hall of the institution from 25-28 November 2025.

The indoor simulation exercise presents a realistic framework that demonstrates the challenges which often confront a Joint Task Force Headquarters (JTFHQ). It aimed at preparing the students to restore and maintain law and order in internal security and counter-insurgency operations.

The Assistant Commandant Junior Division (ASCOM Jnr Div), Brigadier General Kwasi Ayima commended the students for the high level of professionalism, analytical depth and teamwork demonstrated throughout the exercise.

He noted that the evolving nature of internal security and counter-insurgency operations demand officers to think critically, plan jointly and respond decisively under pressure.
