The event, part of activities to welcome personnel to the operational area, brought together troops from Headquarters, Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie Companies, who competed in volleyball, badminton, tug of peace, tennis ball, snooker, and video games. The Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Godfred Asampong, commended the troops for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship, noting that the event fostered esprit de corps among personnel over personal glory. He also took the opportunity to outline plans for upcoming GHANBATT activities and encouraged full participation from all troops. At the end of the keenly contested competition, Headquarters Company emerged as the overall winners, followed by Charlie, Alpha, and Bravo Companies in second, third, and fourth places respectively. 
The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Ghana Battalion (GHANBATT) 12 has held a two-day inter-company fun games event at the GHANBATT Headquarters in Bentiu from 8 to 9 November 2024.
