The Jungle Warfare School (JWS) has held an annual end-of-year dinner dance at the Akim Achiase Multi-Purpose Square on Friday 27 December 2024.

The event aimed to enhance esprit de corps and foster the camaraderie for which the professional Ghana Army is renowned.

The Guest of Honour, Commanding Officer (CO) of the Jungle Warfare School, Lt Col Jacob Codjoe, highlighted the school's commitment to supporting civil authorities in maintaining law and order within the Achiase District.

He expressed deep appreciation to the Military High Command for their unwavering support in providing the necessary logistics to ensure the school's efficient operation and adherence to military standards.

Lt Col Codjoe also recognized the invaluable contributions of stakeholders, individuals and corporate bodies whose support has been instrumental in the school's impactful infrastructural development.

He commended the award recipients of the evening, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in the coming years to ensure the Jungle Warfare School achieves even greater success.

He also extended his warm wishes for a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to Officers, Soldiers, Defense Civilian Staff, families, and friends of the Unit.
