Following a convicing win in the Peaceful Election Volleyball Competition, the Ghana Navy Volleyball Team has presented trophies to the Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Eastern Naval Command (ENC) Commodore Maxwell Arhen, on Thursday 7 November 2024.The event was organised by the Simpa Amazing Spikers Volley Club, at the Ekem Yard Forecourt in Winneba, where the team exhibited exceptional skills and dedication, winning the ultimate prize.During an official visit by the team to the Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) of the Eastern Naval Command (ENC), Commodore Arhen extended his congratulatory message and commended the players for their commitment throughout the competition.Additionally, he reaffirmed his dedication to supporting the team's continued development, urging them not to become complacent but rather to leverage their recent accomplishments as motivation for future achievements.He emphasised the importance of caution and responsibility in the lead-up to the electoral process and encouraged the team to remain actively engaged when called upon.In recognition of individual excellence, distinct honours went to Chief Petty Officer First Class (CPO1) Amoh Eric for being the Best Coach, CPO2 Kwaw Richard was adjudged Best Male Setter; Leading Seaman (LS) Adeze Gifty was named the Best Female Middle Blocker, while Able Seaman First Class (AB1) Azoglah Diana was awarded Best Female Libero.The rest of the awards went to AB2 Ampong Mary who was the Best Female Opposite Hitter, AB2 Haiel Odoi; Best Female Setter; AB2 Asumang Sarfo Daniel; Best Male Outside Hitter; and Gideon Aquah was Best Male Libero.
