A delegation from the Ghana Navy has successfully conducted a four-day Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for a state-of-the-art navigation simulator in Croatia from 8 to 11 October 2024.

The navigation simulator represents the forefront of maritime simulation technology designed to provide a highly realistic and advanced training experience for seafarers globally.

The manufacturers, MEP and Wartsila Voyage Services, guided the Ghana Navy delegation through the manufacturing processes and the operation of the simulator. The event showcased the simulator’s advanced capabilities, with MEP leading the delegation through its equipment and functionalities.

Esteemed guests from Finland, Denmark, the USA, the UK, Turkey, China, and the Netherlands were also present, highlighting the significance of this innovation.

The simulator is being acquired for the Ghana Navy by the Danish government to enhance the training of Ghana Navy personnel.
