The Base Ammunition Depot (BAD), has held its annual West African Soldiers Social Association (WASSA) at the forecourt of the Unit on Friday, 29 December 2023. The Commander 851 Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD), Colonel Gasper Asare, who was the guest of honour for the occasion, appreciated personnel for their dedication, sacrifices and selflessness to duty. He later commended personnel for their hard work and effort in protecting the ammunitions at the depot. Col Asare expressed gratitude to the families of personnel for their support. The Commanding Officer Base Ammunition Depot, Lieutenant Colonel Issah Tahiru in his remarks, lauded personnel for the enthusiasm, contributions and commitments to the success of the Unit. He further urged all to collaborate and support each other in the accomplishment of the mission of the Unit.
