A delegation from China International Water and Electric (CIWE) Ghana Engineering Limited has visited the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), General Thomas Oppong-Peprah at the General Headquarters Thursday 6 February 2025.
The meeting aimed to discuss proposals for building accommodation for Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) personnel to address the current accommodation deficit.
Chief of Staff at the General Headquarters, Lieutenant General Joseph Prince Osei-Owusu, received the delegation on behalf of the CDS. He emphasised the need for further discussions on the proposal to effectively mitigate the accommodation challenges facing GAF.
Officials present during the meeting were Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) in charge of Logistics, Rear Admiral Samuel Agyenim-Boateng, DCOS Medical Services, Major General Raymond Ewusi and Director Engineering Services, Colonel Jonas Wiafe.
