The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, has visited the victims of the El-Wak sports stadium stampede at 37 Military hospital on Saturday, 15 November 2025.

The visit forms part of the Government’s efforts to ensure victims receive the needed care and support.

Accompanying the Vice President was the Chief of Staff at the Office of the Vice President, Honourable Alex Segbefia.

All 14 injured potential recruits are responding to treatment.

Present to receive HE Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang were the Deputy Minister of Defence, Honourable Ernest Brogya Genfi and Chief of the Defence Staff, Lieutenant General William Agyapong.
