Ghanaian Battalion 4 (GHANBATT 4) serving with the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) has educated school girls of Akenghial Primary School on menstrual hygiene and the proper use of sanitary pads.

During the education, the team demonstrated the correct use and disposal of sanitary pads, encouraged the students to maintain good personal hygiene and boosted their confidence in managing menstruation. Sanitary pads were also donated to the girls to support their health and wellbeing.
