UNICHEM Ghana Group, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, has refurbished the Tamaklo and Nkrumah Wards of the 37 Military Hospital and handed it over to the Formation on Thursday November 20 2025.
The phamaceautical company renovated the High Dependency Unit, supplied new bedsheets and upgraded sanitation, electrical systems and structural elements at the Tamaklo Ward. It also donated a Luex Lion Teddy Bear, stocked the pharmacy of the ward with various Luex products to the Nkrumah Ward and donated seventeen 240 Litre Dustbins to the hospital.
The Chairman UNICHEM Group Ghana, Mr Raju Daryanani Mohan stated that the company was glad to have refurbished and adopted the Tamaklo Ward, describing the gesture as service to God and reaffirmed the commitment of the company to providing quality, affordable health care by prioritizing the health of people beyond the sale of pharmaceutical products.
The acting Commander 37 Military Hospital, Commodore Seth Adjetey who represented the Commander Brigadier General Evelyn Vivian Abraham-Kwabiah expressed gratitude to UNICHEM Group Company for the gesture and said that the refurbishment has improved the wards.
Mr Raju Mohan was accompanied by the Director UNICHEM Group Ghana, Mr Jason Nana Yaw Mohan, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, Mrs Vaniya Mohan, the company’s Pharmacist, Mr Ankar Desai and some other key personalities of the company.
