The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General William Agyapong has on Monday 24 November 2025 visited some personnel receiving treatment at the 37 Military Hospital following a vehicular accident between Salaga and Tamale township.
The accident involved three personnel who were carrying out presidential assignment. They include Lieutenant Colonel Edmund Erasmus Adonteng, Staff Sergeant Shanu Osmanu and Lance Corporal Austin Anthony Ceece Charles.
CDS also used the opportunity to visit 8 victims of the recent Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) recruitment stampede who are currently on admission.
He assured the victims of both incidences of the unwavering support of GAF.
