The 37 Military Hospital has commemorated this year’s World Diabetes Day at the forecourt of the Mart Car Park on Wednesday 26 November 2025.

The event themed “Diabetes and Well-being: Know More, Do More” featured free medical screening for staff and the general public, including vital checks, Body Mass Index (BMI), visceral fat analysis muscle evaluation, eye screening, psychological health as well as advice on nutrition.

The Chairperson for the screening exercise, Commander Dr Afeng-Nkansa, stressed the need to test for diabetes, noting the commemoration should inspire everyone to priorities their general well-being.

More than four hundred people were screened.
