A 3-member delegation from the Chinese North Industrial Corporation (NORINCO) has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama at the General Headquarters on Wednesday, 27 September 2023. The visit was aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations between both entities and discussing ways to foster mutual working relations between NORINCO Group and the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF). The NORINCO Deputy General Manager of Africa-America Department, Mr Jerry Tian Bei who led the delegation indicated that the NORICO Group would be pleased to establish working relation with GAF since it is acknowledged as one of the respectable Armed Forces in Africa Vice Admiral Seth Amoama expressed appreciation to NORINCO for their interest in the establishment of the defence of Ghana and referred to the discussion between the Defence Industry Holding Company (DIHOC) and NORINCO in relation to the development of an ultra-modern hospital for GAF. CDS also mentioned the visit made by the Minister for Defence, Honourable Dominic Nitiwul and some senior Officers to NORINCO facility in relation to collaborations between the two entities during the China-Africa Peace and Security Forum and was hopeful the discussions and visits would yield to a fruitful collaboration.
