The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Dr Benard Okoe Boye has donated 4 split air conditioners and a 55-inch LG television set to the Headquarters of Southern Command on Tuesday, 31 October 2023 at Kpeshie Ridge. The gesture, a response to the request made to NHIA comes on the back of a similar gesture by the NHIA to the Physical Training School earlier. Dr Okoe Boye underscored the need for NHIA and the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to establish a mutual partnership that would inure to the benefit of both institutions to enhance national development. The designated General Officer Commanding (GOC) Southern Command, Brigadier General SY Asare expressed gratitude to the Dr Okoe Boye for the timely gesture and reiterated the importance of good rapport between state institutions to ensure national development.
