The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, and his entourage from the General Headquarters have visited the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Headquarters in Accra on Wednesday 2 October 2024. The Commissioner-General of GRA, Madam Julie Essiam, briefed the CDS on the operations of the GRA and acknowledged the existing partnership between the GRA and the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), particularly in maintaining stability and security at the national borders. She emphasised the importance of further strengthening the ties between the two institutions.Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah noted that his visit to the GRA was part of a broader engagement with sister security services, aimed at exploring ways to enhance collaboration between GAF and GRA.
