The Garrison Methodist Presbyterian Church (GMPC) Men Fellowship, led by Reverend Commander (Cdr) David Quayson has donated essential items to the inmates of  Nsawam Prison on Wednesday 27 November 2024.

The items include 900 grams of 360 bags of rice, 50 bags of water, 2 bags of gari, 2 bags of sugar, 600 pieces of toilet rolls, soap cakes, a Hisense Television set among others

Cdr Quayson urged condemned cell inmates to reflect on their past actions and have faith in God for transformation. He emphasised the importance of remorse and accepting responsibility for freedom, drawing inspiration from the biblical story of Paul and Silas. He encouraged them to strive for a better life and to seek guidance from their instructors.

Rev Father Assistant Director of Prisions (ADP) Padi Martin, expressed gratitude to the fellowship for their generous support in improving the lives of inmates after receiving the items.
