A Thanksgiving Memorial Mass has been held to honour the memory of the late Flt Lt Jerry John Rawlings at the Holy Spirit Cathedral Catholic Church in Accra. The Mass was held to commemorate the one year anniversary since his passing.

In attendance with the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Dr Mahamudu Bawumia were former President John Dramani Mahama, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Major General Oppong Peprah and Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Vice Marshal Frank Hanson.

As part of activities to mark the anniversary of Former President Rawlings’ passing, a wreath laying and tomb unveiling ceremony has been held for him at the National Memorial Section of the Military Cemetery at Burma Camp.
