2nd Edition of NCO’s Manoeuvre Leadership Course Commences For Northern Command Troops

The Deputy  Chief of Mission at the US Embassy Miss Nicole  Chulick has on Monday 25 October, 2021 opened the second edition of the Non-Commissioned officers Manoeuvre Leadership Course for personnel of  Northern Command at the 6 Infantry Battalion, Kamina.

The 8 week training under the auspices of the Office of Security Cooperation of the United States Embassy was aimed at providing technical and tactical support to participants in the fight against activities of terrorist armed groups.

Miss Chulick emphasised that, the US was committed to aiding Ghana in the fight against counter terrorism.  She encouraged participants to take advantage of the operational and tactical experience of the course advisors.

The General Officer Commanding Northern Command, Brigadier General Moses Mohammed Aryee said, the continuous extremist attacks in neighbouring countries and the threats they pose have necessitated the running of this course.  He charged the participants to be dedicated and committed to the training to make them more ready for the tasks ahead.

Present at the ceremony were the Command Operations Officer, Colonel MK Opoku, the Deputy Command Operations Officer, Lt Col ET Doke, Commanding Officer 69 Airborne Force, Lt Col Adum-Atta, Commander Rear 6 Bn, Major JY Ankuyi, other senior officers of the Command and facilitators.
