Safety and Security Officer of Peace Corps, Mrs Jessy Wilt paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama at his office in Burma Camp on Thursday, 21 October, 2021.

The visit was to request for professional advice in a five-year strategic risk assessment plan to enable its members perform their voluntary duties in a free and safe environment and also to show gratitude to the Military High Command for the support it has continuously offered the organisation since its inception.

The CDS noted that Ghana had been a peaceful country but was not immune to terrorist attacks, hence, measures had been put in place to increase troops strength in the northern part of the country since possible threats were imminent in that enclave. However, he promised to assist the organization in its humanitarian service.
