Alveus Development Ghana Limited Hands Over Two 40ft Bespoke Containerised Office and Accommodation to Ghana Army as 22/10

Alveus Development Ghana (ADG) limited, a container conversion specialist company, has officially handed over a two 40ft bespoke containerized office and accommodation unit to the Ghana Army in a short ceremony on Thursday, 21 October 2021 at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, Mr Umo Antia in his remarks, thanked the Military High Command for accepting the donation and pledged to maintain a good working relationship with the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).

Mr Umo Antia indicated that the initiative was not a substitute for traditional housing, but a complement to help solve the accommodation challenges facing the GAF.

The Chief of Staff (COS) at the General Headquarters, Major General Nicholas Peter Andoh who was the Guest of Honour, commended the CEO for the kind gesture and assured him that the facility would be put to good use. He revealed that the GAF will expand the containerized accommodation initiative to other units due to its flexibility. Major Gen Andoh admonished personnel of the Army Specialised Operations Brigade, who will be operating temporarily in the containers, to make optimum use of the facility.

In his address, the Brigade Commander of the Army Specialised Operations Brigade, Brigadier Gen Matthew Essien also expressed his heart-felt appreciation to the CEO for heeding to their call.
