The Chief Staff Officer (CSO) at the Army Headquarters, Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Charles Agyemang-Prempeh has officially opened the Basic Intelligence Officers’ Course 1-21 on Monday, 11 October  2021 at the 5 Infantry Battalion Lecture Hall in Burma Camp.

The 5 week course which involves 27 participants drawn from the three arms service of the Ghana Armed Forces is to enhance personnel information gathering capabilities and building  analytical skills for effective functioning at their various unit levels. 

He emphasized that, intelligence pervades every facet of military operations  and that nothing meaningful could be done without proper intelligence.

He advised the participant to take the lessons seriously and apply themselves fully to the course to get the best out of it.

Present were Director Army Intelligence and Plans (DAIP), Colonel Fuseini Salifu, Deputy Director Army Intelligences and Plans (DDAIP), Lieutenant Colonel Eric Ametame andsome staff at the Army Headquaters.
