WOs of UNIFIL GHANBATT 87 Supports WOs Ward of 37 Military Hospital

Warrant Officers (WOs) of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and  Ghana Battalion (GHANBATT 87) have presented Four Hisense Fridges and Two Hisense 32’’ Digital Televisions to the WOs Ward of the 37 Military Hospital on Thursday, 14 October 2021 at the Fore Court of the Hospital’s headquarters in Accra.

The Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) of the GHANBATT, Senior Warrant Officer (SWO) Dompreh Bennett Eric presenting the items on behalf of the WOs disclosed that the presentation was to support the ward which is also known as the James Cole Ward in order for WOs to get the best of healthcare whenever they were on admission.

SWO Dompreh said the donation was to help in equipping the ward since it was created and commissioned in May this year by the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama.

SWO Dompreh during the presentation was assisted by FCOP Paul Samor –Duah and CPOI George Asiama of the 37 Military Hospital, WO11 Ernestina Awuah (DPR), WO1  Adafabla Yawbila (Air Force), WO1 Susana Tawiah (MP) and WO1 Dickson Batsa (49 Engineer Regiment).

The Acting Commanding Officer of the Hospital, Col Robert Seth Attoh received the items on behalf of the Commander 37 military Hospital, Brig Gen Nii Adjah Obodai and thanked them for their kind gesture.

 The ward which was named after Ex Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) James Cole is to serve both retired and serving Warrant Officers whenever admitted to the hospital. The ward was named after Ex CWO James Cole for his sacrifices and commitment to the Ghana Armed Forces.
