The Ghana Military Academy (GMA) Intake 15 has celebrated its 46th anniversary with a thanksgiving service at the St Catherine Catholic Church, Burma Camp on Sunday 21 July 2019.
According to the Patron of the Intake, Capt Joshua Peprah (Rtd), the rationale for the celebration was to usher in the newly elected executives of the intake to successfully discharge their mandate.
Delivering a speech at the anniversary at the Command Officer’s Mess, the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lt Gen OB Akwa lauded the efforts of the Intake for their immense contribution to the Ghana Armed Forces and the state at large. He elaborated that the Intake had exceled diligently in the areas of academics, career and in governance by contributing their quota to national development whilst in service and on retirement.
He congratulated the executives and members of the group for the excellent team work and cooperation exhibited over the past 46 years.
Plaques were awarded to the former President and Secretary of the Group, Brig Gen Emmanuel Okyere and the current National Security Adviser, Brig Gen JS Nkrumah (Rtd), for their tirelessly service to the group.
