The burial service for the late Brigadier General Random Kwami Agbemasu was held on Friday, 11 June 2021 at the Garrison Methodist Presbyterian Church, Burma Camp, Accra.

The service begun with an opening prayer by the Senior Chaplain and Director Ghana Armed Forces Religious Affairs, Capt (GN) Paul Adjei-Djan, followed by a filing by the family, servicemen, friends and loved ones.

The Late Brig Gen Agbemasu (Rtd) was described as a strict disciplinarian but approachable. His commitment and hard work earned him appointments such as Assistant Commandant, Military Academy and Training Schools, Teshie, Director General Logistics at the General Headquarters and Commander, Support Services Brigade Group, amongst others.

He was born in Matadi, Congo, now the Democratic Republic of Congo on 13 January 1940. He gained admission into the Ghana Military Academy on 13 October 1962 and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant on 12 September 1964 as part of the Regular Career Course 6. He served in various capacities for 40 years and passed away at age 81 on 17 November 2020.

He left behind 12 Children, 17 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. In attendance were the Military High Command, Retired Senior Officers, Ex-servicemen, and some traditional leaders.
